CyberICT

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

The short version

CyberICT is a reader-supported news site. We don't run advertising, we don't sell data, and we don't require an account to read anything.

What we collect

Nothing you type into this site is currently stored on our servers. The newsletter signup form is not yet connected to a mailing provider — addresses entered into it are held only in your browser for the length of your visit and are discarded when you close the tab. Until that changes, no subscriber list exists.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) as part of delivering the site and protecting it from abuse. We do not combine those logs with anything else or use them to build a profile of you.

Cookies and tracking

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. Your light/dark theme preference is stored locally in your own browser and never sent to us.

Third parties

Articles link out to primary sources such as CISA, NVD, and vendor advisories. Once you follow one of those links you are on their site, under their privacy policy, not this one.

Changes

If we start collecting anything — a real newsletter, analytics, accounts — this page will be updated before that goes live, and the date at the top will change.
